We received some beautiful buntings in the mail today to celebrate the birthdays we are having this week. This lovely Japanese floral print bunting (detail is shown in enlarged photo by creator) is made by Solohandmade, a handcrafted home items store in the Netherlands founded and run by a fellow Bostonian-adoptmom-expat. She makes me crazy with love and envy- if only I could create such magical things! I would be worthy!
Tonite homemade pizza and icecream from Ice Cream Chefs! which is down the road, (don't hit the link unless you don't mind inane music box music). This was mom's request and we are curious to see if this store will live up to our imaginings. We are getting mocha chip, creme brulee and strawberries and cream iceream. They also have more adventurous flavors but I have learned the hard way with the bean paste icecream and the DURIAN. Link provided to show you that I can be fair altho' I think durian is one of God's mistakes, sort of like bungi jumping.
Lots of Indian food on the menu for the next few weeks!
And in one week I will be going to BALI for the Art of Living Part 2 Silence course. Yes!
I get to be quiet for 5 days. The mind will rest. In preparation I will be fasting for the three days prior and taking myself off processed sugar, coffee, and tea. This means just veggie broth, decaffenated tea, lemon water and juice for me.
