We have bees living and working in our Chiku tree. They are making a honey comb and have been busy for the last five days. At first we thought that we were just a pit stop on route to a new hive because bees don't usually like to build their honey making establishments in such an open spot. But since they have been working away for five days now, we are assuming that they are producing SOMETHING. They are very relaxed bees and allow me to stand 2 feet away from their business without so much as a buzz. They occasionally ripple their wings across the hive and it is fun to watch them. Oh. And they are very small.
