It was the weather that made it possible. On Friday May 18 when the Olympics was scheduled to happen I flew out to Cincinnati where my brother was getting married the next day. It was a homemade affair and came off miraculously, wonderful weather, food, accomodations and company. But I guess the weather in New England wasn't so lovely and the Olympics were rescheduled for the following Tuesday. The children of the Fifth Grade class at The Waldorf School, (my dears in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade) probably don't know what a blessing it was for me to be able to come to their pentatholon. But I was able to take photos and preserve my memories of these gorgeous creatures I was once priviledged to teach.
